My Best-est College Friends

Friends. I can’t imagine life without them. They are one of the treasures in my life now. It’s not just because they make a great company, fun to be with, or have good lifestyles. They make me really special, so special. During my 18th birthday, I wasn’t really expecting that they would prepare something so special for me. Well, maybe I was not expecting too much of a surprise but I was looking forward. haha. Imagine, they spent a lot just to surprise me (well, everything behind this “mission” was my boyfriend). And some of them even stayed late in school just to wait for my ministry’s fellowship to end and then give their present to me. Wow, that was really amazing of them. They really made me so loved that day. I was thinking all the time that nobody loves me, that nobody really cares for me. But here they are, suddenly bombarding my life with so much love, so much care.
Not only that they make me special but they are always there when I need someone to talk to or to lean on whenever I have a heavy heart (usually when I have troubles with my boyfriend..my friends are love experts, you know..hahaha.lol.). Just the silence they give when I share all my burdens to them already gives me much joy, comfort, and peace. Their pieces of advice also made me a lot better than my old self. They inspire me to do things I never thought of doing. They taught me how to feel fabulous even without being grand nor elegant. I love my life now partly because of them. They made me realize that life is much sweeter and dearer when you have someone to share it with.
My friends might be imperfect. They might have flaws, or own set of negative attitudes and issues within themselves. But despite of all of that, I love them so much and I value them with all my heart. I might not be able to say this everyday to them but I really, really do.
To my friends, thank you so much for the wonderful moments you have shared with me. The finish line for our college years is already very near. I hope of spending my last year in college with more blissful moments with you. And though after our graduation, we might be separated for years, I would never ever forget how you have touched and changed my life. I hope and pray that we would be friends not only forever but even ‘til the day after forever.
